Kathy joined our Clinic for Women team in 1988. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Alabama in Birmingham. While at UAB, she was active in the Sigma Theta Tau Nursing Honorary, Omicron Delta Kappa Leadership Society, and Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society.
The National Certification Corporation certified Kathy as an Obstetric-Gynecologic Nurse Practitioner in 1981, and from there she went to work for her father, Dr. Albert Bryan until his retirement in 1988. She continues to enjoy seeing many of his patients at the Clinic for Women.
Kathy is a member of the National Association of Nurse Practitioners in Women's Health and is also a Charter member of North Alabama Nurse Practitioner Association. She has also served as a sub-investigator for Medical Affiliated Research Corporation. Her practice includes wellness care for women of all ages, as well as contraception, infection prevention and treatment, female sexual dysfunction, and menopausal support including hormone replacement therapy.
Kathy and her husband, George, have 3 children and reside in Huntsville.
